Designed for ELA K-12 teachers, ELA is an immersive experience will enable you to observe ELA classrooms in session and attend workshops led by Ron Clark, Kim Bearden, and our entire ELA department. We will share our ideas and strategies for ways to enhance your ELA classroom with proven strategies that will engage even the most restless of learners. You will be given tools teach the required curriculum in ways that will create meaningful results. An emphasis will be placed on ways to engage students, foster academic excellence, build rapport, and instill a love in all things ELA!
Join Troy Kemp (former founding director for the National Center for the Development of Boys), Junior Bernadin, Kirk Brown, Michael Bonner, and the other men of RCA for an interactive, immersive professional development experience that focuses on research-based methods for raising, mentoring, teaching, guiding, and supporting young men, both inside and outside of the classroom. Learn how toxic masculinity, miscommunication, and misunderstanding can be a barrier to our students’ success, happiness, and emotional well-being.
