The Ron Clark Academy is looking for an experienced Videographer who is interested in pursuing a long term position within our growing media department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a flexible, professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude. RCA is a highly creative and collaborative atmosphere, where individual perspectives and contributions are highly valued. This position would work closely with our current lead videographer to complete weekly/monthly/yearly short form and long form video assignments, such as digital marketing and event videos that are shared across multiple platforms.

The Ron Clark Academy is looking for an experienced Video Editor/Motion Graphic Artist who is interested in pursuing a long term position within our growing media department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a flexible, professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude. RCA is a highly creative and collaborative atmosphere, where individual perspectives and contributions are highly valued. This position would work closely with our current lead videographer to complete weekly/monthly/yearly short form and long form video assignments, such as digital marketing and event videos that are shared across multiple platforms.

About RCA

The Ron Clark Academy is based in Atlanta and focuses on 4th-8th grade students of various academic, emotional, and socio-economic backgrounds.  We are also a professional development facility, and visitors from around the world visit to observe our teachers in the classroom and attend our workshops and conferences.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply, please make us a brief (1-3 min) video of you answering the following questions:

Seriously, make it a brief video.  No raps, singing, or dancing.  No fancy editing, either.  Use your cell phone!  We seriously just want to see you talk about some of the things that matter to us!

HOW TO APPLY

VIDEOGRAPHER REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro.
  2. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast paced environment.
  3. Understanding of SEO principles and industry trends in videography and digital marketing.
  4. Ability to develop creative concepts in storyboards that align with the brand’s marketing strategies.
  5. Operate and maintain video equipment such as:
    o interchangeable mirrorless cameras and lenses
    o Lighting and audio equipment
    o Maintenance of media storage and backup

HOW TO APPLY

VIDEO EDITOR REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro & After Effects
  • Ability to create motion graphics, including lower thirds, animating text, and more
  • Skill with green screen and compositing
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and animation is a plus
  • Background in digital marketing videos is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS  BA in Video editing, VFX compositing, or equivalent skillset a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience. SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects Photoshop and Lightroom (a plus)
